Construction

This system is mainly aluminium providing strength and durability where it is needed – in the locking and hinge area. Any water in the glazing chamber cannot reach the timber due to the plastic thermal break. This break also limits cold air transferring to the timber and reduces any condensation forming.

The timber becomes an integral part of the system prior to final assembly. The final assembly connects both materials independently, catering for any differences in expansion. Insulation foam is inserted in the sections to provide a low U-value to comply with building regulations and saving you money in heating costs.
